Locals call “Hanabi Taikai” – the summer evenings are filled with impressive colourful fireworks which attracts almost a million spectators. Also come highly recommended is a wearing traditional Japanese summer wear “Yutaka” to fully embrace the experience.
- Summer Sonic
Annual music festival held in Tokyo and Osaka. Usually takes place in mid August, the Summer Sonic is considered as two of the biggest music event in Japan and welcomes various genre of global musicians and performers.
- Beer Gardens
Many beer gardens are open for the summer. With shared tables at these events, it is a great way to meet locals in a relaxed environment where everyone is just… well having a beer and a laugh.
