Good news for our Copa Connect users! Last month we upgraded to version 11.5 of our Copa Connect distribution platform. This resulted in the following updates:   

• Date of birth validation for CHD and SRC passenger type, ensuring a correct quote according to the type of passenger selected. Available in SPRK and API. For more information on how to enter the passenger’s age in Copa Connect Web (SPRK), click here.
• Voluntary changes for scenarios “Cancel and open – Flight Specific”. Available in API only (via aggregators).   
• Display of Exempt taxes in the quotation, issuance and reporting flow. Available in SPRK only. For more information see the guide here.

We are pleased to announce the reactivation of flights to and from Valencia (VLN) and Barquisimeto (BRM).

Valencia from April 4, 2026 – we return with 5 weekly frequencies in April on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays.
Increasing to 6 frequencies in May, adding Wednesdays and from June onwards we will operate daily.

Barquisimeto from May 4, 2026 – We restart with 3 weekly frequencies on Mondays, Thursdays and Fridays.

Wi-Fi on board of Copa Airlines 

Copa Airlines becomes the first Latin American airline to offer Starlink Wi-Fi on board. The Starlink technology will be integrated, to provide high-speed internet across the entire fleet. The rollout of high-speed internet will begin in July 2026, allowing passengers to stream content, play online games, and work in the cloud during their flights.
