Seats, baggage and changes? When do we use EMDs and how does it work?

Change Fee
Collecting a change fee in a resrvation, this is not issued on an EMD. The change fee for the Blue Basic fare needs to be collected under the CP tax.
Note: “CP” is the only accepted tax code for collecting change and cancellation fees. Debit memos will be issued for using non-approved tax codes, including tax code "DU". EMD is not an available option.

EMDs for seats and baggage
If there are changes to the reservation, whether this is voluntary or involuntary, the steps to be followed are:
--> Before making the change to the itinerary, cancel the EMD and refund it.
--> Make the change to the itinerary and issue the ticket.
--> Repurchase the bag or seat and issue the EMD.
