Fleet expansion Copa AirlinesFleet expansion Copa Airlines

Boeing and Copa Airlines announced an order for 40 737 MAX airplanes, with options for up to 20 more. The agreement supports our plan to grow our fleet by more than 100 737 MAX jets, strengthening the connectivity from Panama’s Hub of the Americas® across the Americas and the Caribbean.

We will leverage the efficiency and range of the 737-8 and 737-9 to modernize our network while maintaining our fleet commonality. The order builds on more than 40 years of partnership between Copa and Boeing and supports Panama’s role as a regional hub for business and tourism.

We continue to improve our Stopover Panama program so that you can offer your clients an even more complete and flexible experience, offering them the opportunity to discover an additional destination on their trip, making a stopover in Panama on the outbound or return trip, at no additional cost in airfare.

As part of this enhancement, we have made the following updates to our Stopover policy, available for new bookings only:

More time to enjoy: we extended the stay from 7 to 15 days.
Greater flexibility: allows itinerary changes on both unused and partially used tickets (change fees and fare difference charges apply as applicable).
